The VRCARE project officially kicked off its training activities with a twohour introductory session at the 1st EPAL of Messolonghi. During the workshop, six teachers explored how Virtual Reality can enrich vocational education, particularly in the fields of Health, Welfare, and Wellbeing.
Participants had the chance to familiarize themselves with VR headsets and experience the project’s first set of immersive learning scenarios. The session aimed to help educators understand how VR can support handson learning, strengthen student engagement, and create safe environments for practicing reallife situations.
To capture their impressions, teachers completed a usability questionnaire. Their feedback was highly positive, noting that the scenarios were easy to navigate, wellstructured, and effective for teaching. They also highlighted the strong sense of immersion and safety provided by the VR environment.
This first training marks an important step in bringing innovative digital tools into vocational education and sets the foundation for the next phases of the VRCARE project, a project that has received support from the Erasmus+ program.
